Mike has been with Google for over 16 years and currently leads the APAC Cloud legal team. Before his current role he also led Google’s commercial legal team for SEA and South Asia. During his time at Google, he’s worked on some of Google’s most complex and important commercial deals across the breadth of Google’s products, including Advertising, Android, Payments, Search, Maps and Enterprise, and played a key role in setting up its offices across Southeast Asia.

Mike has over 20 years of legal experience, and has been working in the Tech industry for the majority of that time. Before joining Google in 2008, he was with Yahoo!, which he joined in 2006 after cutting his teeth in legal roles covering both in house and private practice.

Mike was a Member of the Legal Technology Cluster of the Singapore Academy of Law where he contributed to the “Singapore Technology Masterplan 2017”, and has spoken on a wide range of topics including from Cloud Computing, Payment systems, and AI regulation.
