Dr. Tomas Maszczyk is a distinguished Senior Scientist in the Computing & Intelligence Department at the Institute of High-Performance Computing, part of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning, from the prestigious Polish Academy of Sciences in 2014. With over two decades of experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) spanning academia and industry, Tomasz has contributed to more than 30 significant AI projects in collaboration with industry leaders and government bodies. His current research focuses on applying AI to advance healthcare.

While Tomasz has taught cybersecurity at a university in Poland, he modestly refrains from labelling himself a cybersecurity expert, respecting the value of formal certifications. Nevertheless, his passion for the field is evident. Outside of his professional endeavours, he immerses himself in cybersecurity,
exploring new techniques, delving into the deeper recesses of the web, and assisting local authorities. For Tomasz, cybersecurity is more than a profession—it is a dedicated pursuit driven by curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
