Takashi has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. After graduating from Keio University, he worked in fixed income commodities sales, trading, structuring, and marketing at Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

After leaving Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2012, Takashi founded Elements Capital and Earth Elements Capital, which managed private equity funds with a focus on small-cap corporates at various stages. He has been involved in investment and incubation of startups in the web3 space since 2017, and has been a member of EMURGO’s corporate venture capital investment committee since 2019.
