Sophie is a Partner at Linklaters and the Regional Practice Head for the Corporate division.

Sophie has worked on some of the largest and most complicated transactions in the region. Sophie is ranked as a Band 1 lawyer by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2022 and inducted into the ’Hall of Fame’ by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2022. Sophie was also awarded Lawyer of the Year (Private Practice) at the inaugural Legal 500 Southeast Asia 2020/21 Awards.

Sophie is a pioneer of the use of legal technology, having led on one of the largest AI-assisted due diligence projects in the Firm. This involved the review of over 20,000 documents in the context of the corporate reorganization of a global bank.

Sophie has also guided clients on sustainability and governance issues particularly in the clean energy and plantation sectors.

Beyond her work at Linklaters, Sophie serves as the Chairperson of Babes, a Singapore-registered charity that supports pregnant teens. She is also on the advisory board of the Yong Pung How School of Law of the Singapore Management University.

Sophie is passionate about developing talent and finding new ways of working (with technology or otherwise) to help lawyers manage the demands of an exacting profession.
